DEMONSTRATIE VRIJDAG 11:00 BINNENGASTHUISTERREIN
De tijd voor actie is aangebroken! De nieuwe houtskoolschets “Profiel 2016” wordt niet geaccepteerd door Humanities Rally. De adviezen van de werkgroepen zijn zeer selectief in het nieuwe profiel gebruikt, en de alternatieve plannen van verscheidene professoren volstrekt genegeerd.
Ook wordt er verwezen naar de “laksheid” van studenten om de keuze voor het destructieve bezuinigingsbeleid te legitimeren. Ten slotte wordt er geen openheid van zaken gegeven, ondanks beloftes van de decaan. Dit is onacceptabel. Humanities Rally roept daarom op tot actie!
Op vrijdag 13 februari zullen wij een demonstratie organiseren die zal starten op het Binnengasthuis terrein. Als je net als wij volwaardige, kwalitatief hoogstaande studies wil behouden, zorg dan dat je er vrijdag om 11 uur bij bent!

Time for action has arrived! The new outline for “Profile 2016” will not be accepted by Humanities Rally. The Faculty Board has been extremely biased in their use of the advices of the “werkgroepen”, and has completely ignored alternative plans made by several professors.
Furthermore, to legitimise their choice for the destructive policy of budget cuts the Board are referring to the “laziness” of students. Lastly the dean will not discuss his choices or the procedure in public as promised. This is unacceptable. Humanities Rally therefore calls for action!
Friday 13 February we will organise a demonstration that will start at Binnengasthuis terrein. If you, like us, want to maintain a healthy and inspiring faculty, be there at 11 AM!
